Senior Developer (Contract to hire) Needed ASAP in Tampa, Florida

Job Description

MUST have a Green Card or be a US Citizen
MUST BE LOCAL TO THE TAMPA BAY AREA.  (blended on-site and remote work). Growth opportunity!

Required skills:

1. Have Senior level experience (6 to 10 years with the last two or more in the tech below).
2. Must have excellent verbal and written  communication skills
3. Have strong JavaScript experience (Node.js preferred)
4. Have experience developing services, microservices, and APIs.
5. Have experience programming U/I components in ServiceNow (big plus but not required)

Nice to have skills:

1. Have experience with unit testing and interest or experience in automated unit testing
2. Architecture for new development is as follows:
   1. Thin user interface in ServiceNow
   2. Thick business logic in API in JavaScript
   3. Single-purpose services for notifications, logging, FTP, EDI, PDF file creation, etc. in JavaScript and possibly some in ColdFusion
   4. Microservices for data storage and retrieval
3. Legacy work involves small enhancements and bug fixes
   1. ColdFusion
   2. SQL Server 2016
4. Everything is in Azure and everything runs in Docker containers.
5. Client uses  using Azure DevOps. DevOps experience a plus! Work is Kanban style.
